Alpine Silk Lanolin

Alpine Silk Lanolin is one of the worlds leaders in Pure New Zealand Lanolin. Lanolin has been around since the early 1600s. Back then it was sheeps wool was simply boiled in an attempt to bring out the natural oils found there. Once procured it was discovered that it was also useful for smearing on war garments to keep them waterproof during battle. Finally in the 1880s a much more efficient method of lanolin collection was invented and the skincare era was introduced. Lanolin was used on the face and hands as it was discovered that Lanolin softened them up considerably. Now days with the introduction of the SPF30+ lanolin really is a skin protector and good all round skin rejuvenator.
