What currency are our prices?
All of our prices are in New Zealand Dollars - NZD

 

Do our prices include GST?
Yes all of our prices include GST (sales tax)

 

What payment types do we accept?
We accept Visa and Mastercard. You may also use PayPal.

 

What will appear on your statement?
Our trading name "The Gift Box" will appear on your statement.

 

Freight - How much and who do we use?
Orders within New Zealand are sent via Courier Post.
North Island New Zealand $10.00 per order.
South Island New Zealand start at $10.00 per order.

There are two options for international shipping
1. International Air (not tracked) (3 to 8 days Australia) or (7 to 12 Days rest of the world) (working days)
2. International Courier Courier (tracked) (2 to 4 days Australia) or (5 to 7 days rest of the world) (working days)

International Courier Destinations: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, USA

International Courier to PO Boxes to the following countries only:
Australia, Brazil, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Finland, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Japan, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, Singapore, USA.

The price of international orders is calculated at the shopping cart and is based on the physical weight of each item being sent. You can test out different items by clicking on recalculate to get an exact idea of how much your order will come to before you commit to buying.

When will my order arrive?
Orders within NZ can take 2 - 4 days

International Shipping: There are two options for international shipping

1. International Air (not tracked) - 7 to 10 working days
2. International Courier (tracked) - 3 to 7 working days (requires signature on delivery)

Working Days are Mon - Fri and do not include weekends, public holidays in either country, or customs delays.

These times are estimates only and as NZ Post does not control all parts of the delivery chain parcels may take a little longer on occasion.

 

Do we Gift Wrap?
Yes we do. Within the shopping cart there is the option to purchase gift wrapping. This is now completely FREE. Make sure you leave a message in the message section of the cart.

 

Customs & Duties?
On some international gifts selected items may be subject to import taxes or duties on entering your country. These taxes or duties are your responsibility. (This has only occured three times in 10 years)

 

Our Returns Policy
Within 14 days of delivery of a shipment, you may return any item you purchased from the NZGiftbarn.com store, for any reason, for a full refund of the items purchase price, provided:

* The product is undamaged and in original condition.
* The original receipt slip is included with the item.
* The item includes all original packaging and associated parts or accessories.

We cannot accept returns of opened items, damaged or soiled items, or items returned (received by us) more than 14 days after delivery.

The shipping cost of returned items is the responsibility of the purchaser, unless the return is a result of our error. The original shipping cost of returned items will not be refunded, unless the return is a result of our error.
